Lived Experiences

Video is one of the best ways to share real, lived experiences, and we take great pride in capturing people’s stories in their own words.

There’s something incredibly powerful about seeing realism, authenticity, and emotion come to life on camera, especially when handled with care and sensitivity. Having people tell their own stories is the essence of true filmmaking. Take a look at a few examples of those we’ve produced so far.

Steve's Story

Steve experienced a life-changing workplace accident and in this video he shares his journey before, during, and after the event.

This powerful story was used to educate employees during in-person health and safety meetings.

We filmed everything in a single day, capturing scenes at Steve’s house and a local gym. After pre-interviewing Steve about his early life, we chose these locations to add visual interest and depth to his story.

King's College London Women Entrepreneurs

We asked a group of women entrepreneurs about their challenges, doubts, and how they overcome imposter syndrome. Their responses were refreshingly honest and might surprise you.

By featuring their genuine answers at the start of the video, we aimed to create a connection with the viewers, showing that even strong role models share common doubts. This made their advice all the more authentic and valuable.

Charlie's Journey

When COVID hit, Charlie and his wife faced challenges that threatened their lives.

In our conversation with Charlie, he shared the desperate situation they found themselves in. This film was created to educate the workforce on the importance of following COVID testing routines both on-site and at home, to protect colleagues and loved ones. We filmed in two locations—Epsom, to reenact Charlie’s afternoon and evening, and Somerset, where Charlie and his wife lived.

Ryan the Rocket - EdPlace

To highlight the benefits of EdPlace, an online learning application aligned with the school curriculum, we followed Ryan and his mum as they shared how the app helped keep Ryan on track with his education.

Showing the challenges of balancing Ryan’s sporting aspirations with the practical demands of learning resulted in a genuine and relatable video with a warm tone.
